I haven't written my dA journal for ages, so I thought that it might be a time for an update!
In May I graduated from Upper Secondary School of Visual Arts. I did ok with the marticulation examination and tried to apply to art univerisites and art collages but didn't get into any of those. But it's ok for now, because I know didn't do my best with the pre-tasks I was supposed to do for applying to the universities and collages. I couldn't concentrate properly because I also had to study for the matriculation examination during that time.
Now I'm studing publishing and printing. It has been interesting so far and I have learnt how to use InD
I've always thought that painting isn't really my thing. But apparently it is. I had an oil painting class and I have to say that I find oil painting fun (and hard!). I had never painted with oil color before so my very first painting kinda sucked but I did ok with the second one.
I also had a class about art history. On the class I painted with acrylic colors- I have painted with acrylic paint before, so it wasn't new to me, but this time it really felt like my thing. I could have worked on the painting longer than I did because it was so much fun. If I owned acrylic paint myself, I would paint all the time.
